This awesome group of girls and guy raised $525 for Cisarua Refugee Learning Center in Jakarta, Indonesia.  How'd I get so lucky to be surrounded by so many amazing and compassionate young people?!

WE Day 2018

3rd Annual WE Day Los Angeles was a huge hit, as usual.  Morgan and Arya got to walk the red carpet and be interviewed by bloggers and celebrities.  The show was AMAZING!  So inspiring seeing all the great people being celebrated for doing great things all over the world.  We raised $1,500 to provide education for children in Kenya, which is how we earned our way to WE Day.  Check out WE's work here: www.we.org

Coin War 2018

2nd annual Coin War fundraiser.  6th grade took the title again and got to buy pizza for lunch and enjoy music in the Quad.   Her's a picture of the club after serving pizza to the 400+ 6ht graders who ordered pizza.  So proud of this hard working squad!

 

For The Unseen

Every once in a while you meet someone who's work, passion and bravery leaves you floored.  Puneh is one of those rare birds.  We invited Puneh to talk about her journey to the middle east to help Syrian refugees and what drove her to what she does.  Pictured below is the first of our donations to the organization she founded and runs called For the Unseen.  We're very proud to say that we've raised over $3,000 for FTU and hope to continue supporting the great work she does!

Zoe Bands

Busy Bees, Doing Good!

We've been super busy since our last post.  We've raised over $9,000 so far this year. 

We've donated to Best Friend's Animal Society and Pet Harbor, who were instrumental in helping save the lives of animals affected by the disasters in Texas and Florida. 

We've donated to the Unidos Fund through the Hispanic Federation for hurricane relief in Puerto Rico. 

We just wrapped up our most recent fundraiser, Coin War.  We've been learning about the refugee crisis around the world and will be donating to the Cisarua Refugee Learning Center in Jakarta, Indonesia.  CRLC is a school created by refugees for refugees.  We were honored to have one of the co-founders, Khadim Dai, speak to us about his journey as a refugee.  His story was moving and inspiring.
